Q: Do we provide bait?
A; yes, we provide bait for the entire boat. We fish with artificial, dead and live baits. Sometimes on the way to our fishing spots, we will stop and fish for live baits.
Q: What is included in the price of the charter?
A: Price includes boat, fuel, fishing license, rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice and fish cleaning.
Q: Do I need a fishing license to fish on your boat?
A: No
Q: What do I need to bring?
A: Sunscreen (preferably cream not spray), hats and sunglasses. Any food or drinks you wish to have on the boat for the duration of the trip. If you are prone to seasickness, we recommend bringing or taking a seasickness prevention pill or wearing the patch.
Q: What should I leave behind?
A: Please do not wear dark or black soled shoes. also leave behind hard liquor, glass bottle beer and illegal drugs/contraband.
Q: Can I bring my own rods/reels and tackle?
A: Yes. However, it is not necessary.
Q: Can I bring a cooler?
A: We have on-board coolers available for your use. We ask that you plan to use those to prevent clutter on the deck of the boat. We would encourage you to bring a cooler in your vehicle to take your fish home in.
Q: What can I do with my fish if I am visiting from out of town or don't feel like cooking it myself?
A: There are several local restaurants in the area who will cook your catch for you in their kitchen. Having your fish shipped to your house is also an option.
Q: Do I need to tip the mate/captain?
A: The captain and mate both work for tips. The customary gratuity is 20-25% of your total trip price.
Q: Is there a bathroom on the boat?
A: We have a very non-traditional set up, should a bathroom emergency arise.
